Fotis Dulos received the rebuke in court Friday, Oct. 4, in connection to an interview he gave to Proto Thema, a Greek publication in which he said that Jennifer Dulos, of New Canaan, was suffering "serious serious psychological problems that I didn’t immediately understand.”

Fotis Dulos's attorney, Norm Pattis, and several news organizations have filed motions with the state Supreme Court to have the gag order overturned. The case is set to be heard in December.

Judge John F. Blawie told Fotis Dulos to conform to the order until the Supreme Court heard the case.

The order prohibits everyone involved in the case, including law enforcement, from discussing any aspect of the case.

Pattis said the order prejudices his client’s right to a fair trial.

Also on tap during the hearing was a defense motion to dismiss the charges against Fotis Dulos.

Blawie heard arguments from both sides but did not make a ruling. He set the next court date for Nov. 6.

Jennifer Dulos disappeared on Friday, May 24 after dropping her children off at a private school in New Canaan. Her vehicle was found hours later near Waveny Park in New Canaan by police.

Since her disappearance, Fotis Dulos, and his former lover Michelle Troconis have been charged twice with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution. Both are free on bail and are wearing GPS monitoring devices.

The charges were filed after state and local police allegedly found evidence of a violent struggle at her New Canaan home and that Fotis Duolos, along with Troconis, dumped items with her blood on it in trash cans in Hartford the night she was reported missing.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos is asked to contact the New Canaan Police tip line at (203) 594-3544.
